How to Prepare the Dough: 1. 2-1/2 cups water. 2. 2 cups P.A.N., 1 teaspoon salt. 3. Pour water into a container. Add the salt the corn meal gradually. 4. Knead until a smooth dough is formed and let rest for 5 minutes. 5. How to Prepare the Arepa: Separate dough into 10 portions. Take one portion in your hands and shape into a ball, then press it with your palms to form a large patty shape of about 10 cm (3-1/2 in) in diameter. Place onto a griddle or frying pan over medium heat for 5 minutes on each side. Brown on both sides and serve hot. Open the arepa and fill it to taste.
