Keep frozen. Simmer: For each 8 ounces (approximately 1/2 bag) of crinkle cut yellow squash, bring 1/4 cup water to a boil. Add vegetable and bring to a second boil. Reduce heat and cover. Simmer 10 to 15 minutes, until just tender. Do not overcook. Drain. Season to taste. Steam: Pour 8 ounces (approximately 1/2 bag) of crinkle cut squash in vegetable steamer and place over boiling water. Cover and steam 5 to 7 minutes, until just tender. Season to taste. Microwave Ovens: Pour crinkle cut yellow squash in 1 1/2 quart microwave-safe dish. Add water and cover. Microwave on High as directed on chart. Season to taste. 2 Large Servings: 8 oz squash 1 tablespoon water, cook 3 minutes. Stir and continue to cook 3 to 4 minutes. 5 Servings: 16 oz squash, 2 tablespoons water, cook4 minutes.
