Simply Perfect Pasta: Step 1. Select number of servings. 2 Servings: 1/3 pkg pasta; 2 qt water; 1 tsp salt. 3 Servings: 1/2 pkg pasta; 3 qt water; 2 tsp salt. 6 Servings: Full pkg. pasta; 5 qt water; 1 tsp salt. Step 2: Pick your time/firmness. Al Dente: 6 minutes. Firm: 7 minutes. Tender: 8 minutes. Step 3. Cooking Directions: 1. Bring water to a rapid boil. To add flavor and reduce stickiness, add salt (optional). 2. Gradually stir in pasta; return to rapid boil. 3. Cook uncovered, stirring occasionally. 4. Drain well. Serve as desired. For Oven Dishes & Casseroles: Prepare as above but reduce cooking time to about 5 minutes for recipes that will require further cooking.
