Brownie Mix (sugar, Enriched Bleached Wheat Flour (bleached Wheat Flour, Niacin, Reduced Iron, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Cocoa Powder Processed With Alkali, Palm Oil, Dextrose, Salt, Wheat Starch, Sodium Bicarbonate, Artificial Flavor), Salted Caramel Topping Packet (corn Syrup, Water, Dextrose, Sugar, Modified Corn Starch, Salt, Natural And Artificial Flavor, Phosphoric Acid, Caramel Color, Potassium Sorbate (preservative), Sodium Citrate, Colored With [titanium Dioxide, Yellow 5, Red 40], Skim Milk).
Directions
You Will Need: 2 large eggs; water; vegetable oil. Do not eat raw batter. Fudgy Brownies: 1 egg; 1/3 cup water; 1/3 cup oil. Cake-Like Brownies: 2 eggs; 2 tbsp water; 1/3 cup oil. Baking Instructions: Step (1) Prep: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F for metal and glass pan, 325 degrees F for dark or coated pan (Add 3-5 minutes for dark or coated pan). Grease bottom of pan. Step (2) Mix: Empty brownie mix, eggs, water and oil in a large bowl. Stir until well blended (about 50 strokes). Spread into greased pan. Drizzle the caramel in lines across the pan. Using the tip of a knife, drag it through the batter and caramel to get desired marble effect. Step (3) Bake in center of oven at 350 degrees F following chart below. Add 3-5 minutes for dark or coated pan. Brownie is done when toothpick inserted 1 inch from the edge of pan comes out clean. Cool completely in pan on wire rack before cutting and serving. Baking Tip: Sprinkle with sea salt for a hint of extra flavor. High Altitude (Over 3,500 ft): Preheat oven to 350 degrees F stir 2 tbsp flour into brownie mix. Mix according to the directions in step 2. Bake at 350 degrees F. 8 x 8 inch pan 35-37 min; 9 x 9 inch pan 30-32 min. Lower fat recipe: Prepare and bake brownie following directions above except using 1 egg, 1 tbsp water, and 1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce. Reduce baking time 1-2 minutes.
