        It’s like the “Lays potato chips” of lip product. I just got it and 2/3 of it was air. Had to squeeze out SO much air to get product out to try it. It smells great, but tastes like chemical (I kinda was expecting that with an spf, tho). The applicator is actually very nice which is why I gave it two stars. Only going to use it when I’m out tanning or In the sun, so hopefully it lasts me the money I dropped on it. I’m just salty that it was only 1/3 of the way full. But it’s really soft and isn’t sticky at all. And I like the glossy but spf sentiment we got going on here.

        I really like this balm, it is comfortable on the lips so I have no qualms surrounding it's quality. However, the applicator tip becomes unusable. I don't understand why Cay hasn't updated this yet when it is clear from customer feedback that there is a packaging issue. This worked fine at first but lo and behold, about halfway through the tube, the applicator becomes dysfunctional. It is clear so you can see that there is still product trying to push through, but the dispense hole has somehow collapsed into itself and is clogged. You have to push hard to the point that a chunk of balm spurts out. So it's either toss it and waste money, or fight with the tube everytime you want to use it. I won't purchase this again until the packaging issue is fixed.

        I really liked how this product felt on my lips, I'm always applying a lip balm if I do not have lipstick/lipgloss on. Unfortunately, due to the tip suddenly no longer working, I had to throw most of it out. No matter how much I squeezed with all of my might, still nothing, and if it DID eventually come out....it squirted everywhere making a mess. Hopefully the packaging changes for easier use.

        I guess it’s fine as the product that it is. Light vanilla scent, super glossy but not quite sticky. However, after a couple of weeks using it, with plenty of product in the tube, I was having trouble squeezing anything out. I kept squeezing and the tip of the tube prolapsed. Then when I’d go to use it from now on a fountain of lip balm GUSHES out spilling out everywhere. This morning I tried to use it and along with excess product came the inside mechanism for the applicator (see pic). Also the tip got so ugly so quickly and idk why. I guess product got into the crevices from the inside?? But it literally looked 6 years old and crusty after like, a week.

        Maybe I’m just super sensitive but this tastes like chemical SPF to me and I wanted to put that out there since most reviewers don’t seem to taste it. It seems that the vanilla sugar is only in the fragrance as I can’t detect any other flavor even though it’s in the description. It’s not as strong as other SPF lip products I’ve tried and I don’t notice it as much after about 10 minutes but it’s definitely there to me. I don’t find the texture to be thick like others. I would say it’s middle of the road - not as thin and slippery as pure Vaseline but not as thick and balmy as the Saie lip balm. Maybe close to the Eucerin lip SPF in texture. I appreciate any company that’s offering SPF lip products but I won’t likely repurchase this one unless they fix the taste. My current favorite lip SPF that doesn’t have a chemical taste and is moisturizing is Revlon SPF 20 in the coconut flavor. For reference, I often taste weird chemical flavors in lip products that others don’t seem to notice. For example, the newer L’Oréal lipgloss balms and sticks have a slight chemical flavor and tingle on my lips. Sort of like when I accidentally spray fragrance too near my mouth. If you’re not sensitive like this you may not notice in this product so it could be great for many.

        Giving the low rating because ya'll have GOT to change the packaging. I love this product and want to continue purchasing but I've literally bought 3 or 4 of these and they have ALL plugged up before I was able to finish the product. The tube gets plugged up and no product is able to come out. I squeeze and squeeze and nothing will come out when I know there is still product. I love this product and want to continue to use it, but cannot until ya'll update the packaging.

        Some people said it’s sticky, but I disagree! Not sticky at all to be honest and it smells more like vanilla than sunscreen (vanillin is I think the 9th ingredient in this lip balm). It leaves a glossy finish and I got it because my current spf lip balm melted in my car. 4/5 stars because there’s nothing that made this product significantly stand out :)

        I like this product so much I’ve gotten it 3x but have had issues with the packaging because about 1/4 through my use of a tube, it becomes blocked and the product no longer dispenses out. I’ve emailed the company and had a new tube sent to me which was kind, but I’d rather have it fixed then receive another one with the same issue. I work for product quality for a company and when we deal with a defected product, we pull all of them and prohibit selling them until there is a solution and return it to the shelves when it’s in good condition for consumers. I’m frustrated with this issue and how nothing is done so far, so until it’s fixed, I won’t be purchasing this product anymore. Otherwise I love the balm because it’s thick, hydrating, and long wearing.

        I love the actual product. Has a sweet scent, keeps lips hydrated, and provides a glossy sheen. Unfortunately I cannot repurchase due to the poor packaging. Halfway through the tube; product just stopped coming out. No visible clogging. After squeezing like a maniac, the balm bursted out and the applicator tip was cracked. Now when I squeeze the tube, product oozes out from the cracked portions instead of the actual opening.

        Love the product itself; I’m usually a lip oil user but during the day time I love that this gives a similar effect with SPF protection. However, I’ve purchased 3 of these already and can never get through a whole tube without the applicator malfunctioning. I’m not sure what causes the issue, it simple stops dispensing as if it’s clogged. If they could fix that the product would be 5 stars for me. Really unfortunate that it’s 3 tubes wasted:(
