His passion for excellent bread stems from his childhood in New York where he frequently baked with his mom. At the age of 18, he moved to San Francisco to further develop his baking skills and learned about wild yeast and the important role it plays in giving artisan bread its deep, complex flavor. Twenty years later he moved to Seattle and opened The Essential Baking Company, where he continues to hone his skills in the bakery every day. Organic Unbleached Wheat Flour, Water, Sea Salt, Organic Barley Malt.
Baking Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 425 degrees F. 2. Remove bread from package and place directly on center oven rack. 3. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes. 4. Remove from the oven and serve warm. Do not microwave. Grilling Instructions: 1. Preheat your grill to medium-high. 2. Remove bread from package and wrap with foil, keeping the top of the loaf exposed for ventilation. Place on upper rack. 3. Grill for 12 to 15 minutes. 4. Remove from the grill and serve warm.
