Cover and microwave on high for 6-8 minutes, or to desired tenderness, stirring once during cooking. Drain if needed. Season to taste and cover, allowing to stand for food safety and quality before serving. Because microwaves and stove-tops vary, adjusting cook times and heat settings may be required.
