Boiled Yuca: (Do not thaw) In a large pot, bring water to boil and cook frozen yuca for about 30 minutes or until tender all the way through. Drain and serve with your favorite dressing or sauce. It also gives great flavor to any soup or stew. Fried Yuca: (Thaw first) In a deep frier or pan, preheat oil to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). cut thawed yuca into sticks (about 1 inch thick). Place a small amount in hot oil and cook for about 3-4 minutes, until golden brown. Drain on paper towel and serve warm. Season with salt if desired. Do not microwave. Keep frozen.
