Ingredients
Ingredients: Organic Short Grain Brown Rice.
Directions
Stove Top Cooking Instructions: 2-3 Servings (About 3/4 Cup Cooked Rice): 1/2 cup rice (dry); 1 cup water or broth; 1-1/2 tsp. butter or oil. 4-6 Servings (About 3/4 Cup Cooked Rice): 1 cup rice (dry); 1-3/4 cup water or broth; 1 tbsp. butter or oil. 8-10 Servings (About 3/4 Cup Cooked Rice): 2 cups rice (dry); 3-1/2 cups water or broth; 2 tbsp. butter or oil. If rice is crunchy at the end of cooking time, it may be necessary to add 1-2 tbsp liquid and cook longer. 1. Combine rice, water, and butter (optional) in a pot, and bring to a boil. 2. Cover with a tight-fitting lid, reduce heat to low simmer, and cook 45 minutes. 3. Remove from heat (with lid on!) and let steam for 10 minutes. To prepare in a rice cooker, use same water-rice ratio. We recommend refrigeration for extended shelf life.
