Use it hot, for a soothing, moist heat to relax muscles and ease tensions: Microwave in 30 seconds intervals - to prevent burning, total heating time should not exceed 2 (two) minutes per use. Due to variations in microwaves, it may be necessary to adjust the temperature setting. (After each 30 seconds interval, make sure to stop the microwave, touch & check the temperature (for at least 5 seconds) to make sure that the Wrap does not burn. Do not leave the Comfort Wrap unattended in the microwave.) Microwaved wrap may actually be much hotter inside than indicated by initial touch - so handle with care - and make sure not to microwave past the 2 minutes total heating time limit per use. Please Note: The regular and continuous microwaving of this product over an extended period of time may dry out and diminish the effectiveness of its contents. To ensure proper performance and safely, discard this product after 6 months of use and replace with a new one. Always test for hot-spots and overall temperature before use. Or use it cold, to cool down and reduce minor swelling: Place in a clean, sealed bag and let it stay overnight in the freezer. Care Hint: This wrap is made up of a cover and a removable insert. Periodically, you may need to refresh the herbal aroma of the Comfort Wrap. To do this, remove the insert and spray and the spray on the desired amount at Earth Therapeutics Pillow Mist over the insert. After spraying, put cover back on over the insert. Also, from time to time, it is a good idea to wash the cover of the Wrap. The cover is soft, plush polyfleece and is machine washable. However, make sure to remove the insert before putting the cover into the wash.
