Keep frozen. Cook thoroughly. For food safety & quality, follow these cooking instructions to ensure that product reaches an internal temperature of 180 degrees F. Microwave Oven Cooking: Do not cook more than one pot pie at a time. Directions developed using 1100 watt microwave oven. Oven vary, cooking time may need to be adjusted. 1. Pull tab on side of box and remove perforated strip. Do not remove pot pie from the outer box. The silver grid liner inside the carton must be over the top of the pot pie. Fold bottom flap of open end under box. 2. Place open box, with pie inside, into center of microwave. For an 1100 watt microwave, cook on High (100% power) 6 minutes and 30 seconds. Rotate box 1/4 turn halfway through cooking time. Do not cook in microwaves below 1100 watts as pot pie may not cook thoroughly. Conventional oven preparation is recommended. 3. Let stand in microwave 5 minutes to complete cooking. Pie is done when it is cooked throughout. 4. Carefully remove pie from box. The box and pie will be very hot. Crust should be golden brown and steam rising from the filling. Check that pot pie is cooked thoroughly and that the internal temperature has reached 180 degrees F by using a food thermometer in several spots. Conventional Oven Cooking: Since ovens vary, cooking heat and times may require adjusting. 1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Pull tab on side of box to open. Remove pot pie from box.
