Cooking Directions: 1. In a 6-8-quart stock pot over high heat, bring 4-6 quarts of water to a rolling boil. Add salt, if desired; 2. Add desired amount of pasta to boiling water; stir gently. Return to a boil; 3. Boil, uncovered, stirring occasionally, 5-7 minutes for al dente pasta (firm to the bite); continue boiling 1 minute longer for more tender pasta; 4. Remove from heat. Rinse in cold water for salads and baked dishes. Rinse in hot water for pour-over sauces.
