When to Use: To treat an existing disease: Apply at first sign of disease; To prevent disease: Make first application before conditions are favorable for disease. Directions for Use: It is a violation of federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. For best results, read and follow all label directions. Before you use: If lawn is very dry, water and let dry before applying. Use Precautions and Restrictions: Do not apply near fish pools, ponds, streams, or lakes; Do not allow adults, children, or pets to enter the treatment area until the granules have been watered in and allowed to dry; Do not apply this product in a way that will contact adults, children, or pets, either directly or through drift. How to Use: How to Apply: Apply product with rotary/drop spreader at rate given below; Water lawn after application. Controls: [(Dollar spot, Anthracnose, Brown patch, Powdery mildew, Rusts, Red thread, Meeting out of leaf) (Stripe smut)] - How much to apply: [Curative Rate: 3.5 lbs/1000 square feet (see spreader settings table) Preventative Rate: 2 lbs/1000 square feet] - When to apply: [(Curative: Apply at 14-day intervals until control is achieved, then reduce to preventative rate and timing. Preventative: Apply at 21-30 day intervals until cooler, drier weather arrives.) (Apply once in spring when grass begins to grow.)]; Controls: [(Summer patch), (Take all patch), (Fusarium patch), (Pink or gray snowmold)] - How much to apply: [Preventative Rate: 3.5 lbs/1000 square feet] - When to apply: [(Apply at 30 day intervals beginning in spring (mid-May) or 1 month before this disease usually appears in your area.), (Apply in fall or spring to reduce severity of disease.), (Apply when conditions are favorable for disease development.), (Apply in late fall before snow cover. Do not apply on top of snow.)]; Do not exceed more than 5 applications per year. For best results: Best results are obtained when this product is used as a disease preventative in a complete lawn care program. Most lawn diseases thrive in hot, humid temperatures and under or over fertilized lawns. Thatch build-up also contributes to the problem. Water your lawn in the early morning, never in the late evening. It is best to have a soil test conducted to determine nutrient deficiencies before fertilizing. De-thatch whenever more than 1/2-inch of thatch exists. Mow often at a height recommended for your grass type and the season. For more information on what you can do to control lawn diseases, contact your local County extension service (usually found in the white pages of the phone book under the name of your county). How this product works: Watering after application carries the fungicide into the root zone. It enters the grass through its roots and blades. Rain or water cannot wash off this internal protection! Spreader Settings: Broadcast spreaders model: Scotts Basic: [(2 lb Rate Setting-3.75), (3.75 lb Rate Setting-5), (Distance Between Passes (Feet)-5)]; Scotts Standard: [(2 lb Rate Setting-3.5), (3.75 lb Rate Setting-5.25), (Distance Between Passes (Feet)-6)]; Scotts Deluxe Edgeguard: [(2 lb Rate Setting-4.5), (3.75 lb Rate Setting-6), (Distance Between Passes (Feet)-6)]; Vigoro 10000: [(2 lb Rate Setting-6, (3.75 lb Rate Setting-7), (Distance Between Passes (Feet)-8)]; Vigoro 15000: [(2 lb Rate Setting-3.5), (3.75 lb Rate Setting-5.5), (Distance Between Passes (Feet)-8/9)].
