One Thing Peter Carando Sr. learned from his apprenticeship making deli meats in Italy was—quality takes time. Something he remembered when he came to New England and started his own deli meat business in 1933.And even today, preparing deli meat, bacon and ribs the Carando way takes a lot of time. Time to naturally smoke our bacon. Time to select the individual spices for our ribs. Time to let the flavor soak into every bite. Because we believe even though you don't have all day to prepare a meal, it should taste like you did.

Cured With: Water, Salt, Sugar, Sodium Phosphate, Sodium Erythorbate, Sodium Nitrite.
Directions
Bake: Arrange bacon in a single layer in shallow baking dish. Bake at 350degF about 10 minutes or until crisp. Cooking suggestionsPan fry: Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until browned and crisp, turning to brown evenly. Microwave: Place sliced bacon between paper towels in a microwave-safe dish. Cook approximately 1 minute per slice. If cooking several slices, turn pan and rearrange slices midway through cooking.Note: Microwave times vary with ovens; adjust cooking times as necessary for your microwave oven.
