Directions
For in vitro diagnostic use. Not for internal use. 1. When You Are Ready to Test
• Remove 1 Test Cartridge from its Foil Pouch.
• Find the arrow on the Test Cartridge. Use Test Cartridge within 1 hour after opening foil pouch.
The test cartridge must be inserted into the digital reader before applying urine to it.
2. Assemble the Test
• Find the arrow on the Digital Reader.
• Insert the Test Cartridge into the Digital Reader by lining up the Digital Reader and Test Cartridge arrows. (Arrows should face each other.)
• Insert the Test Cartridge into the Digital Reader until it clicks.
• A clock symbol will appear on the Display Screen. Do not use until the clock symbol is displayed.
If the clock symbol does not display, please refer to Q12 of the included leaflet.
3. Perform the Test
• Perform the test as soon as the clock symbol appears on the digital reader by either:
Testing Straight in Your Urine Stream—Placing just the Absorbent Tip from assembled test pointing downward into your urine stream for 5 seconds. Do not get the digital reader wet.
Or Test a Collected Sample of Your Urine—Testing a sample of urine collected in a clean, dry container. Dip just the Absorbent Tip of the assembled test in your collected urine sample for 15 seconds.
Testing must occur within 5 minutes of unpackaging for the most accurate results.
After applying your urine, keep the test stick pointing downward or laying flat with the display screen facing up. Do not reuse the test cartridge.
4. Wait for the Results
• The clock symbol will start blinking in a few moments to show that the test is in progress.
• After clock symbol begins blinking, results will appear in approximately 3 minutes.
Do not eject the test cartridge while waiting for the result.
Display Results
Negative: (<30 mIU/mI): No Surge.
Positive: (≥30 mIU/mL): Surge.
Positive (>100 mIU/mL): Surge. The test result is out of the detection range.
Invalid Result: Refer to enclosed leaflet.
Warnings
