Pacifiers.
Storage: Store the pacifier in the sterilizer/carrying case or in a dry covered container. Do not leave a pacifier in direct sunlight or near a source of heat, or leave in sterilizing solution for longer than recommended, as this may weaken the nipple. Before Use: Remove tamper-proof closure and any stickers from the case. Wash all items and make sure they are clean. Remove any dirt, food residue, fat or oils, etc. from all items as these may impair sterilization and may damage the pacifiers or case. Note: Only use this case to sterilize Philips Avent Ultra Air or Ultra Soft Pacifiers. Before First Use: Place the pacifier in boiling water for 5 minutes. Let it cool down for 5 minutes before you give it to your baby. Let water trapped inside the nipple cool down and then squeeze it out. This is to ensure hygiene. Cleaning and Sterilizing: Clean the pacifier before every use with warm water and mild soap. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or aggressive chemicals/substances on pacifiers. Excessive combinations of detergents may eventually cause plastic components to crack. If this occurs, replace your pacifier immediately. Pacifiers are suitable for all commonly used forms of sterilization. Clean surfaces and your hands thoroughly before contact with sterilized pacifiers. Using: Always use this product under adult supervision. Replace the pacifier after 4 weeks of use, for safety and hygiene reasons. If the pacifier becomes lodged in the mouth, do not panic; it cannot be swallowed and is designed to cope with such an event. Remove from the mouth with care, as gently as possible. Never dip the nipple in sweet substances or medication because your child may get tooth decay.
Caution: The sterilizer/carrying case, water and pacifiers may still be very hot after cooling period of 5 minutes. Do not tie pacifier around child's neck as it presents a strangulation danger. Please check the nipple before use by pulling. Throw away at the first signs of damage or weakness. For safety and hygiene replace the pacifier after 4 weeks of use. Warnings for Sterilizer/Carrying Case: Always check the temperature of the pacifiers before use. Incorrect water level, microwave power or microwave time may lead to reduced sterilization and may damage the sterilizer/carrying case or pacifiers. Only use with Philips Avent Ultra Air or Ultra Soft Pacifiers and keep the case out of reach of children. For Your Child's Safety Warning: Inspect carefully before each use. Pull the pacifier in all directions. Throw away at the first signs of damage or weakness. Do not soak in water and then put in the freezer. This may weaken the pacifier. Only use dedicated pacifier holders tested to EN 12586. Never attach other ribbons or cords to a pacifier; your child may be strangled by them. Do not tie pacifier around child's neck as it presents a strangulation danger. Philips Avent pacifiers come in different sizes based on age range. Always make sure your baby uses the correct pacifier size.
