How to Use Presto for All Baking: Always omit adding baking powder and salt. Always sift Presto once before measuring, unless otherwise stated in recipe. If recipe calls for cake flour, substitute an equal amount of Presto. If recipe calls for all-purpose flour, substitute an equal amount of plus 2 tablespoons more per cup. If recipe calls for baking soda and sour milk, substitute regular milk. If recipe calls for cocoa, sour cream, or buttermilk, use only 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda per cup of Presto.
