Lighting instructions:

Indoor fire:

For use in all types of open-hearth fireplaces.

Open fireplace damper before lighting firelog.

Carefully pull outward on the seam of the wrapper (without tearing) to loosen it from the log and create an air space.

Place firelog (only one) on supporting grate with arrows pointing down and seam facing room.

Light the seam below each arrow. Close fireplace screen.

Outdoor fire:

For use in outdoor fireplaces, fire pits, fire bowls, chimeneas and campfires.

Firelog(s) should be burned on a grate in an outdoor fireplace or on a bed of sand in a chimenea on fire pit. Do not burn with wood or any other materials.

Carefully pull outward on the seam of the wrapper (without tearing) to loosen it from the log and create an air space.

Place one firelog in base of fireplace/ fire pit with the seam on the side of the log and the lighting arrows pointing down.

A second firelog may be added, if desired, after the first firelog has been burning for about 2 hours and flames have begun to diminish.

Carefully place the second log diagonally across the first log (with seam on the side of the log). Do not disturb, move or break up the existing firelog when adding the second log. Do not burn more than 2 logs at a time.
