Step 1: Prepare the device (First use only): Important: Do not remove the clear plastic cap from the white pen. Leave it in place. Hold the clear plastic cap firmly in one hand. Then, rotate the white pen one full turn in the direction of the arrow. (See figure1). Turning the white pen will require some force. Don't worry if you rotate more than one full turn. Figure 4b: Maximum 40 sec. Common Warts: Place Compound W NitroFreeze on a table or other study surface with the clear plastic cap end down. Keep cap on. Hold the clear plastic cap steady with one hand. With the other hand, firmly push the white pen down into the clear plastic cap for 2 seconds (See figure 2). You will hear a hissing sound the entire time. If you do not hear a hissing sound, go back to Step 1. Carefully remove the pen (the white handle with the light blue pen) from the clear plastic cap (See figure 3). The foam applicator tip will have a frosty appearance. Use the pen immediately. Press the foam applicator tip on the wart that is to be frozen (see Figure 4A). Follow the application time for your wart shown in the instruction leaflet. Do not exceed 20 seconds. Plantar Warts: Soak foot with plantar wart for 5 min. in warm water. Dry thoroughly. File the plantar wart area with a pumice stone or pumice file (not included) before applying Compound W NitroFreeze. Place Compound W NitroFreeze on a table or study surface with the clear plastic cap end down. Keep cap on. Hold the clear plastic cap steady with one hand. With the other hand, firmly push the white pen down into the clear plastic cap for 2 seconds (see Figure 2). You will hear a hissing sound the entire time. Caution: Do not use Compound W® NitroFreeze™: If you do not hear the "hissing" sound during activation (release of gas), and/or; if the "hissing" sound continues after activation, and/or; if the foam tip does not become cold after activation (the tip should have a frosty appearance). If one or more of the above mentioned conditions occur, the device may not be functioning properly. Failure of the device may lead to injury or insufficient/incomplete treatment. Do not reuse the disposable foam applicator tips. Do not treat each wart with this product more than three times in total. Consult your doctor if three treatments have not led to improvement.
