Arrange charcoal briquettes in a neat pyramid in the center of the grill. Apply 1.6 fluid ounces per pound of charcoal (Approximately 15 briquettes uniformly to the pyramid, beginning with the center, and working towards the edges of the pyramid. Close the cap by pressing firmly until it locks. Immediately light the pyramid in several places with a long stem match. To ensure an even and complete burn, drop the lit match onto any pooled fluid below the charcoal briquettes. The fluid burns off cleanly and quickly with virtually no fuel odors. Begin cooking when the briquettes are mostly ashed over, typically 15 minutes.
