The history of the Frescobaldi family starts over a thousand years ago and is closely connected with the history of Tuscany. At the high point of medieval Florence, the Frescobaldi's spread their influence as bankers, earning the title of treasures to the English crown. A little later, with the flowering of the Renaissance, they became patrons of major works in Florence, such as the construction of the Santa Trinita bridge and the Basilica of Santo Spirito. We want the family estates, with their vineyards, to be the expression of Tuscan diversity and for the wines to reflect each individual terroir, respecting their nature and authenticity. In the heart of the Maremma is the Tenuta Ammiraglia Estate. Its vineyards draw an evocative geometry on the hills, skimming the nearby Tyrrhenian coast

Massovivo boasts a beautiful straw-yellow color with utterly delicate green hues. The bouquet is incredibly well-balanced, opening with fruity hints accompanied by elegant floral notes. Hints of fresh citrus fruits are followed by sweet notes of ripe candied fruit. Then, the marvelous Mediterranean character of the wine emerges, with scents of sage and rosemary. It is delicate, fresh and smooth on the palate, with an acidity befitting its rounded, full-bodied character. The origins of the wine are elevated further by its splendid mineral quality, which gives it a very pleasant silky-smooth feel when tasted. The flavors and aromas are wonderfully persistent.
