homestyle meatballs with mushroom & onion gravy - ingredients: 24 buckley farms frozen homestyle meatballs, 2 medium onions, cut into thin wedges, 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar, 3 tablespoons butter, divided, 8 ounces white mushrooms, sliced, 1 tablespoon flour, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, 1-1/2 cup beef broth, 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce, 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme, 2 teaspoons heavy cream, 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, hot cooked noodles. Directions: preheat oven to 350°f. Place frozen meatballs in a single layer on a shallow baking pan. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until hot. Meanwhile, saute onion with brown sugar in 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet over medium heat 10 minutes. Add remaining 1 tablespoon butter and mushrooms, cook, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes. Stir flour and pepper into onions and mushrooms; Slowly stir in beef broth. Add worcestershire sauce and thyme; Simmer 3 minutes, until thickened. Reduce heat to low and stir in cream. Combine gravy and meatballs in a serving dish, sprinkle with parsley and serve with hot, cooked noodles. 4 servings.
