Directions
Take every 4 hours; not to exceed 6 doses in 24 hours or as directed by a doctor. Children 6 to Under 12 Years of Age: 2 Teaspoons. Children Under 6 Years of Age: Ask a doctor.
Warnings
Do not use in a child who is taking prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, or Parkinson’s disease), or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you do not know if the child's prescription drug contains an MAOI, ask a doctor or pharmacist before giving the product. With any other product containing acetaminophen (see overdose warning). Overdose Warning: Taking more than the recommended dose can cause serious health problems, including serious live damage. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a poison control center right away. Prompt medical attention is critical for adults as well as for children even if you do not notice any signs or symptoms. Ask doctor before use if the child has a breathing problem such as asthma or chronic bronchitis, glaucoma, cough that occurs with too much phlegm (mucus) or chronic cough that lasts.
