Internal temperature needs to reach 165 degrees F as measured by a food thermometer in several spots. Read and follow these cooking directions. Stove Top Skillet: 1. Heat 14 cup cooking oil in 12 inch nonstick skillet over medium heat. 2. Add half bag of potatoes to skillet. 3. Cook 5 minutes. Turn potatoes and cook additional 5 minutes to a light golden color.
