5-way protection: Freeze-up; Boil-over; Rust, Corrosion; Scale build-up; Sludge clogging.
Meets or exceeds the following specifications: ASTM-D3306, ASTM-D4340, SAE J1034, GM-1825M, Ford ESE M97B44-A, Chrysler MS-7170, GM-1899M. Plus meets heavy-duty low-silicate requirements including: ASTM-D4985, Cummins 90T8, TMC RP-302B, SAE J1941, Caterpillar, Mack Truck, John Deere H24B1/C1, Volvo/GM Heavy Truck.
Ingredients
Ethylene Glycol (107-21-1), Diethylene Glycol (111-46-6), Dipotassium Phosphate (7758-11-4), Water (7732-18-5), Corrosion Inhibitors, Silicates, Defoamer, Dyes.
Directions
Check owner's manual for specified antifreeze usage. Drain radiator. Fill with fresh water. Flush cooling system for 10 minutes with engine running and heater on high. For proper flush, keep radiator drain valve open and radiator full by adding water into top of radiator. Please be sure to follow all local guidelines when disposing used coolant. Let engine cool, drain radiator. (Note: Draining radiator may not completely drain cooling system. The engine block and heater core contain approximately 50% of cooling system capacity. Be sure to compensate for this when adding coolant). Check owner's manual for cooling system capacity and manufacturer's recommended antifreeze/water ratio. Fill with enough new coolant to achieve desired ratio. A minimum of 50%, maximum 70% antifreeze is recommended to achieve optimum freeze/boil and corrosion protection. Run engine 10 minutes with heater on high. When engine has cooled, check freeze protection with an antifreeze tester. Add more antifreeze or
Warnings
Harmful or fatal if swallowed or inhaled. Contains Ethylene Glycol. Do not drink antifreeze or solution. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Immediately contact a Poison Control Center or physician. Avoid inhaling mist or hot vapors. If inhaled, remove to fresh air. Ethylene Glycol causes birth defects in laboratory animals. Do not store in open or unlabeled containers. Wash thoroughly after handling. Solution can be poisonous to animals. Keep out of reach of children and animals. Do not reuse container.
