Blue Mountainâ„¢ Antifreeze & Coolant is a low-silicate antifreeze containing inhibitors providing protection from freezing, overheating, rust and corrosion when used as recommended. This product has been formulated for use in automobiles and light duty trucks and protects all cooling system metal surfaces, including aluminum.
Ingredients
Ethylene Glycol (107-21-1), Diethylene Glycol (111-46-6), Dipotassium Phosphate (7758-11-4), Water (7732-18-5), Corrosion Inhibitors, Silicates, Defoamer, Dyes.
Directions
Directions: Drain and Flush: Drain radiator. Fill with fresh water. Flush cooling system for 10 minutes with engine running and heater on high. For proper flush, keep radiator drain valve open and radiator full by adding water into top of radiator. Please be sure to follow all local guidelines when disposing used coolant. Refill: Let engine cool, drain radiator (Note: Draining radiator may not completely drain cooling system. The engine block and heater core contain approximately 50% of cooling system capacity. Be sure to compensate for this when adding coolant). Check owner's manual for cooling system capacity. Fill with enough new coolant to achieve 50/50 antifreeze/water mix. Check Protection: Run engine 10 minutes with heater on high. When engine has cooled, check freeze protection with an antifreeze tester. Add more antifreeze or water to radiator as necessary. Fill reservoir with a 50/50 Blue Mountain Professional Antifreeze & Coolant/water mix. Periodically check radiator and re
