Arizona Red Wine: We somehow stumbled on what appeared to be an old abandoned vineyard, hidden off the road behind a field of mesquite and yucca in our high-altitude mountain valley. Not far from our own vines, the vineyard was inexplicably marked by crop circles, but the grapes looked and tasted good. We came up with this big, fruity, aromatic field blend that will pair beautifully with red meats, casseroles, or any robust foods, and will do very nicely by the glass. Try chilling a glass and sipping it during the high summer. 400 cases made. - Sam Pillsbury. Alc 14.2% by volume.
