How to Play Jacks: With Ball: Baby game (ones) – Scatter all jacks upon the playing surface by a single movement of the right hand. Toss the ball, pick up one jack , and after ball transfer the jack to the left hand and proceed as before until all six jacks are in the left hand. Twos - jacks are picked up by twos, otherwise proceed as in Ones. Same for Threes, Fours (four and then two, or two then four). Fives (one and then five, or five then one). Sixes (all at once). Downs and ups - All jacks and ball in right hand Toss ball upward, lay down all jacks and catch ball in right hand. Throw ball up again, pick up all jacks. and catch ball in right hand. Eggs in basket — Scatter jacks, toss ball. pick up one jack using, right hand only and while ball bounces once, transfer jacks to left hand, then catch bail with right hand, when all jacks have been picked up and transferred to the left hand. the lacks are all put in the right hand and scattered again proceed through twos, threes, fours, fives and sixes. Crack the eggs — Scatter jacks with right hand, Toss ball with right hand and while ball bounces once, pick up one jack with right hand Crack (tap) it on the playing surface, and catch ball in right hand which is still holding the jack. Transfer the jack to the left hand and proceed as before until all jacks are picked up. Scatter again and proceed by two, threes, etc through sixes. Upcast — Scatter jacks with right hand. Toss the ball with right, pick up one jack with right hand and catch the ball in the right hand after it has bounced once, same as in Baby Game. Toss the ball up again with the right hand and while it bounces transfer the jack to the left hand, and then catch the ball in the right hand continue until all jacks are in the left hand. Scatter again from the right hand and proceed by two then threes, etc., through sixes. Pigs in the pen — Place left hand on the playing surface, finger tips and wrist touching the surface and forming the pen. Toss the ball upward and while it bounces once, pick up one jack with right hand and push it into the pen, then catch the ball in the right hand Thumb and forefinger are lifted from the playing surface when jack is pushed in but any jack or Jacks left outside the thumb constitute a miss Scatter again with the right hand and proceed as before putting jacks into the pen by twos, then by threes etc., through sixes. Pigs over the fence —Place left hand at right angles to the playing area, little finger resting on the playing surface This forms the wall or fence. Scatter jacks. toss the ball upward with the right hand. and pick up one jack with the right hand. While ball bounces once, place the jack on the far cide or the left hand (over the fence). When all six jacxs are picked up. rescatter with the right hand and proceed by twos, threes, etc., through sixes. Sweeps — Scatter jacks, toss ball, and while ball bounces once, place fingers on one jack and without lifting it from the playing surface, sweep it across the surface with the right hand until it is close to the body. Then pick it up and catch the ball with the same hand Sweep all jacks singly then rescatter and proceed sweeping by twos then by threes. etc., through sixes. Scrubs — Scatter jacks, toss ball, pick up one jack and scrub it across the playing surface with a backward and forward movement. Keep jack in right hand and after ball has bounced once. catch the ball in the same hand. Transfer jack to the left hand and proceed until all six jacks have been scrubbed. Rescatter and scrub by two, then threes etc. through sixes. Without A Ball: Over and back — Scatter and select one for tossing. Toss the lacks, pick up one, catch, toss the two and catch them on the back of the hand, toss them both from the back of the hand and catch in the palm of the hand. Set one aside and proceed in the same way until all have been picked up. Scatters — (A) Select and toss one jack and while it is in the air pick up one and catch, toss both and catch both on the back of the hand, toss both from the back of the hand and catch it in the palm. So far this is the same as Over and Back (B) Toss both and pick up a third, hold it and catch the other two, toss the three, catch them on the back of the hand, toss, catch them in the palm, continue until all are picked up. each time tossing all that are in the palm and catching them on the back of the hand as in !'A" . In the final play all six will be tossed from the palm, caught on the back of the hand, tossed from there, and caught in the palm. Sweeps — Scatters. Place the left hand as for Pigs In Pens, toss a jack with the right hand, and while it is in the air put one jack on front of the tip of the left thumb. Catch the tossed jack In the right hand in similar manner the other four jacks are placed at the tips of the fingers. Lift the left hand, loss the jack. and while it is in the air gather all five of the jacks that have been placed, with one sweep into the right hand and catch the tossed one. Finish by tossing all six and catching on the back of the right hand, toss again tram the back of the right hand and catch in the palm. The player places four jacks at the corners of a square and a filth jack on the back of his hand. Without displacing the latter he gathers up, one after the other, the tour on the ground, holding them against the palm until all tour are in his hand and the fifth still on top. Not one of the gathered jacks must tall out or it is a miss and the play most be done over or, if competitive, the player loses his turn. Fouls and Misses: 1. Using wrong hand to catch the ball. 2. Failure to pick up the proper number of jacks required that is, picking up three jacks while playing two, or four while playing fives, etc. 3. Allowing the ball or jacks to touch body or clothing while catching ball, except hand used to catch ball. 4. Two hands Catching the ball with both hands 5. Drop jack and drop ball. Failure to hold ball or jacks until movement is completed. 6. Touching any other jack while attempting to pick up a jack or group of jacks. 7. Trying twice for the same pack of group of jacks. 8. Double bounce in any game, except double bounce. 9. Changing position after jacks have been scattered plays must be from original position. 10. Failure to begin a turn with proper stunt. (This should always be the one on which the player missed on his last turn.)

When an item you want is out-of-stock at the store, your shopper will follow your replacement preferences.

You can set item and delivery instructions in advance, as well as chat directly with your shopper while they shop and deliver your items. You can tell the shopper to:

- Find Best Match: By default, your shopper will use their best judgement to pick a replacement for your item.
- Pick Specific Replacement: You can pick a specific alternative for the shopper to purchase if your first choice is out-of-stock.
- Don't Replace: For items you'd rather not replace, choose "Don't replace" to get a refund if the item is out of stock.
