Directions
Preparing Great Oatmeal: For 1 serving, you need 1/2 cup of oats, 1 cup of water or milk, and a dash of salt (optional)*. For 2 servings, you need 1 cup of oats, 1-3/4 cups of water or milk, 1/8 tsp. of salt (optional)*. Stove Top: 1. Boil water or milk and salt. 2. Stir in oats. 3. Cook about 1 minute over medium heat; stir occasionally. Microwave (1 Serving): 1. Combine water or milk, salt and oats in medium microwave-safe bowl. 2. Microwave 1-1/2 to 2 minutes; stir before serving. *For low sodium diets, omit salt.
