Directions

Before You Begin: Read instructions carefully before starting your makeup. Cover a flat, steady work area with newspaper. Work in front of a well-lit mirror. Before applying makeup, slip on any clothing that requires stretching over the head. To protect your clothing, tuck an old sheet around your neck, barbershop style. Wash and dry your face thoroughly. 1. Foundation: With fingertip, dot cream makeup onto face. Use yellow contour sponge to spread makeup and then to pat it smooth and streak free. A thin foundation coat is usually better than a thick coat. Allow to dry for a few minutes before applying other makeup colors. 2. Crayons: For sharp lines and unmixed colors, remove a little foundation with a cotton-tip swab and apply crayon color directly to exposed skin. For highlighting or shadowing over foundation, apply hard edges onto foundation and soften or blend with fingertip, sponge or cotton-tip swab. 3. Cream Makeup: Apply makeup to skin and blend with sponge or fingertips. Makeup has a creamy consistency, in the tray, for minimum mess and easy application. The moment it is applied, it becomes a soft, silky powder that is comfortable and gentle. Use fingertips to apply makeup over large areas and a small brush or cotton-tip swab for details. 4. Shading: To create a highlight, lay on a color lighter than the foundation and gently blend. Highlight Areas: bridge of nose, cheekbones, chin, brow line. To create a shadow, lay on a color darker than foundation and gently blend. Shadow Areas: sides of nose, eye sockets, under cheekbones, temples. 5. Makeup Pencil: Use for detail work, outlining and thin lines. Pencil can also be used to dot a design onto your face. 6. Sponges: Use the yellow contour sponge to spread makeup and to pat it smooth and streak-free. Use the black stipple sponge to pat a dotted pattern of one or more colors onto skin. To Create an Unshaven Look: Pat black makeup onto cheeks and chin. To Create a Bruise: Pat on a layer of blue dots followed by a layer of red dots. Do not spread makeup. 7. Glitter Gel: Use to accent your character. Dip brush into glitter and paint onto face. Add glitter to hair with a brush, comb or fingertips. 8. Color Mixing Chart: Add darker color to lighter color a little at a time until desired shade is reached. Removal: Fun World makeup washes off easily and completely with mild soap and warm water. It is best, however, to first remove excess makeup with a moist paper towel. Gently wash skin once or twice a day. Stains will disappear. Do not rub.
