Microwave Method: Do not pierce, puncture or open steambag before eating. Gently massage package to break apart vegetables before microwaving. Place steaming in microwave, direction side up. Microwave on high for 5 to 6 minutes. Let stand 1 minute. (Microwave oven temperatures vary; you may have to adjust times accordingly. If any spots are noticeable on outside of bag after heating, microwave another 30 seconds.). Carefully pour vegetables from steambag; drain, if needed. Season to taste. Prepare. Caution: Contains steam. Contents will be hot. Stove Top Method: Bring 2 cups water to boil over high heat. Pour in frozen vegetables and return to boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 4 to 5 minutes or to desired tenderness. Drain; season to taste. For Food Safety: Keep frozen until ready to cook. Do not freeze. Heat to 165 degrees F before use. Refrigerate leftovers.
