Yellow Corn On The Cob
Keep frozen.
Cook immediately.
Cooking instructions:
Stove top:
1. Bring 2-4 quarts of water to boil.
2. Gently drop in desired amount of ears and bring to boil again.
3. Cover; boil 8-10 minutes until tender.
4. Drain. Season to taste.
Microwave:
1. Place 1/2 cup of water and desired number of ears in microwave safe dish.
2. Cover. Cook on high according to chart. Turn corn and rotate dish. Let stand, covered, 5 minutes before serving. Drain.
Season to taste.
Ears ... Cooking times.
1 corn ear ... 4 - 6 minutes.
2 corn ears ... 6 - 8 minutes.
4 corn ears ... 10 - 14 minutes.
Note: When cooking larger amounts, add an extra 2 tablespoons of water and 2 more minutes cook time for each additional cup of vegetables.
*Appliances vary; heating times are approximate. For food safety and best quality, cook to a temperature of 165°F.
