Birds Eye Steamfresh Chopped Kale makes it easy and delicious to serve your family vegetables. This frozen kale is picked from specially selected vegetables and flash frozen for quality. Made with nothing artificial, this frozen vegetable is chopped and ready to heat and serve as a side or to add to your favorite recipes. Preparation is simple; just microwave the frozen chopped kale in the bag in less than 6 minutes or cook on the stove in under 8 minutes. Store the 9 ounce bag of frozen vegetables in the freezer until you're ready to cook it. It’s good to eat vegetables, so Birds Eye makes vegetables good to eat.

Keep frozen - Do not thaw. Cook thoroughly. See cooking instructions. Microwave Instructions: Microwave ovens vary - Adjust cooking times as needed to reach 160 degrees F as measured by a food thermometer taken in several spots. For food safety and quality, follow these instructions carefully: Keep frozen - Do not thaw. Cook thoroughly to a temperature of 160 degrees F. Promptly refrigerate any leftovers. 1) Place frozen, unopened bag this side up in microwave. Do not pierce bag. For microwaves with a metal rack, remove rack. 2) Microwave on high for the recommended cook time based on your microwave wattage. During cooking, the bag will slowly inflate. A special vent in the bag will allow the steam to escape and a whistling sound may be heard. 3) Let stand for 1 minute after cooking. Carefully handle bag at corners marked with the red dots and remove from microwave with two hands. Hold bag over serving dish. Tear bag at notch. Pour, stir and enjoy! Microwave Cook Time: 1200 Wattage: 4 minutes; 1000 Wattage: 4-1/2 minutes; 800 Wattage: 5-1/2 minutes. Stove Top: 1. Empty frozen contents of bag into a 2-quart non-stick saucepan. Add 1/3 cup water. 2. Cover and cook over medium-high heat for 6 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally. 3. Drain and serve. For microwave ovens less than 800 watts, please use stovetop instructions.
