Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils, and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard. Cooking: Conventional (Cooking times for conventional and microwave ovens are approximate since ovens vary by manufacturer) Cooking: Place leg quarters in a single layer on a baking pan. Bake, uncovered, in a 375 degree F oven for 45 to 60 minutes or until juices run clear. Microwave (Cooking times for conventional and microwave ovens are approximate since ovens vary by manufacturer) Cooking: Place 2 leg quarters on a microwave-safe plate. Microwave on 50% power (medium) for 19 to 21 minutes or until juices run clear, rotating plate 2 or 3 times. Let stand 2 to 3 minutes. Grilling: Mount charcoal briquettes in an uncovered grill; ignite. After about 30 minutes (coals should be gray and ash-covered), spread the coals out. Adjust rack 6- to 8-inches from the coals. Place leg quarters, skin side up, on grill rack directly over the hot coals. Grill, uncovered, for 45 to 60 minutes or until chicken is tender. Turn chicken occasionally and brush with desired sauce during the last 10 to 15 minutes of grilling.
