About

Ingredients

Dried Whole Goat Milk Powder, Casein, Vegetable Oil (preserved With Tocopherols), Dried Goat Milk Protein, Dried Whey Protein Concentrate, Dicalcium Phosphate, Choline Chloride, Dl-methionine, L-arginine, Lecithin, Vitamin A Supplement, Magnesium Sulfate, Potassium Chloride, Monopotassium Phosphate, Salt, Tricalcium Phosphate, Iron Amino Acid Chelate, Zinc Sulfate, Vitamin E Supplement, Niacin Supplement, Calcium Pantothenate, Maltodextrins, Thiamine Hydrochloride, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Riboflavin Supplement, Manganese Sulfate, Vitamin D3 Supplement, Calcium Iodate, Folic Acid, Vitamin B12 Supplement, Biotin.

Directions

For Mixing Goats Milk Esbilac (GME) Powder: Gently stir or shake 1 part powdered GME into 2 parts warm water (a part is a teaspoon, tablespoon or cup). Do not mix more GME than can be consumed in 24 hours. Do not use a blender. Reconstituted GME should be kept refrigerated. One 5.25 oz (150 g) can of powder makes approximately 20 oz (600 ml) of liquid mixed 1:2. For Feeding: All puppies should receive their mother's milk for at least 2 days, if possible. This colostrum milk gives extra nutrition and temporary immunity against some diseases. Warm reconstituted GME to room or body temperature before serving. Feed puppies 2 tablespoons (30 ml) of liquid GME per 4 ounces (115 g) of body weight daily. The daily feeding amount should be divided into equal portions for each feeding. Puppies' needs will vary and this amount may have to be increased or decreased depending on the individual. Young and/or weak puppies should be fed every 3 to 4 hours. Older puppies can do well being fed every 8 hours. Weigh the puppies 3 times per week to assure adequate feeding. Consult your veterinarian for additional advice. The PetAg 2 oz (60 ml) or 4 oz (120 ml) small animal nurser are suited for feeding most puppies. When puppies are old enough in lap, begin offering reconstituted GME in a saucer. During the 5th week mix reconstituted GME with Esbilac 2nd Step puppy weaning food. Use of the GME and 2 step will allow the puppy to be gradually switched to solid food. Pregnant and lactating bitches: feed 2 teaspoons (4 g) GME powder per 5 lbs (2.2 kg) body weight daily. Growing puppies already on solid food, show dogs, and/or convalescing dogs: feed 1 teaspoon (2 g) GME powder per 5 lbs (2.2 kg) body weight daily by top dressing food. Storage: Unopened powder should be stored in a cool, dry place. Reconstituted liquid must be kept refrigerated for up to 24 hours. Opened powder must be refrigerated for up to 3 months, or can be frozen for up to 6 months to preserve freshness. Use before date stamped on top or bottom.
