Did you receive a delivery you’re not completely satisfied with? In most cases, we can make things right quickly when you report a problem through the Instacart app or website. You have up to 14 days to report an issue with your order.

In the Instacart app or website, you can get an immediate resolution for these types of issues

  • Missing items
  • Incorrect items
  • Damaged items
  • Poor replacements
  • Early/late orders

Report an issue in the app

1. At the top left, tap the 3 stacked horizontal lines and tap Your Orders

2. Tap Get help on the relevant order

3. Choose the issue you experienced 

4. If prompted, mark whether you were charged for the affected items.

5. Select any affected item(s) in your order 

6. If prompted, select either an Instacart credit or a refund for the affected item(s).

 

Report an order issue on the website

1. At the top left, click the 3 horizontal lines. From the menu, click Your Orders

2. Click Report a problem on the relevant order

3. If prompted, you can adjust your tip and order rating. Then, click Report an issue

4. On the Get help page, choose the issue you experienced 

5. If prompted, mark whether you were charged for the affected items.

6. Select any affected item(s) in your order 

7. If prompted, select either an Instacart credit or a refund for the affected item(s).

8. Click Report Another Problem for additional issues or click All done! to finish 

You’ll get an email confirmation right away for any credits or refunds, and we’ll let you know as soon as any other issues are resolved. Refund and credit amounts vary.
