If you see a transaction on your card associated with Instacart, we can help identify it for you. Here are some first steps you can take to identify the charge: The charge may be your monthly or yearly Instacart Express membership renewal. Log into your account and visit Account > Instacart Express Review the page to see if you have an active Express Membership Confirm the type of Membership you have.  Here you can view the Next Payment date, which will help you identify the original charge amount and date. If you’d like to cancel your Express membership renewal, follow the steps in this article.   The charge may be part of a pending order or completed delivery. Log into your account and visit Account > Your Orders Orders will be listed by the date the order was placed. Select View Order detail for the order you want to review. Scroll to the bottom of the order to view a breakdown of all charges.   Additional assistance If you don’t think the charge is associated with your Instacart account, or if you do not have a Instacart account, please immediately reach out to Instacart Care at help@instacart.com. You can update your Instacart Express credit card and subscription auto-renew settings by logging into your account, and selecting Account > Instacart Express. On the Express page, you can manage your Express subscription type, renewal settings, subscription payment method, and even set a subscription renewal reminder. Placing a Pickup order For certain areas Instacart serves, Pickup is an option you can select before you start shopping. To place an order for Pickup, shop your order on the Instacart app and, when checking out, select a time to come to the store to collect it.  You can see which stores in your area offer Pickup by clicking the Stores selector and choosing the Pickup toggle. To check if your preferred retailer and location offers Pickup, click or tap More Info under the store or look under the Pickup category during checkout. Any item available for delivery is also available for Pickup. Pickup fees vary by store. Be sure to check over the fee amounts when you select a Pickup time at checkout. It looks like this— Instacart Express customers with orders $35 and over always get free Pickup. When your order is ready for pickup, Instacart sends a text or in-app push notification to your phone along with directions for where and how to retrieve your order.  Occasionally, your order will be ready to pick up early. In these cases, we notify you—just in case you’d like to pick it up before the original order time. Don’t worry, though—we keep all your items in temperature-controlled storage until you arrive. Picking up We recommend downloading the Instacart app onto your phone, so you can stay up-to-date with notifications about your order. As you leave your house, tap the I’m on my way button so shoppers can get ready to bring out your order. When you arrive at the store, send a notification through the app by hitting the I’m here button. We also recommend sharing your location while using the Instacart app to help shoppers better time your grocery handoff. Most stores have dedicated parking spots for you to wait in while we bring your order out—we’ll always share store-specific instructions for your order before you arrive. With Instacart, you can shop from multiple stores when placing an order. You’ll have separate carts for each store and can switch between stores while you’re shopping to find and add items. Switching between stores In the app— Tap the Store name at the top of the screen to see a list of available stores for your location. Tap the store name for the store you’d like to shop. You’ll arrive at the store’s landing page. Browse, search, and add items to your cart. On a computer— Click Store at the top left of the page to see a list of available stores for your location. Ordering from multiple stores If you add items from multiple stores to your cart, you’ll see items in your cart grouped by store. This creates a multiple delivery order, with separate shoppers and delivery windows for each store. You can add separate ratings and tips for each shopper for the separate deliveries. Separate delivery fees and minimums apply for each store. Any free delivery promos or credits require a $35 minimum per delivery. This minimum also applies for Instacart Express members.
Instacart Coupons are manufacturer’s coupons that apply automatically to qualifying products at checkout to help customers save money on the products they love. To see available coupons for your store, select the Store and then click Coupons below the search bar. Do you honor store sales and coupons? Although Instacart may not honor in-store discounts, we do offer exclusive Coupons for select items. Do Instacart Coupon prices apply if an item is replaced or refunded?Each catalog item has its own pricing. When you place an order, we show you the anticipated charge for your items, including estimated taxes and fees. Any approved changes to your order during shopping can update the final total in your order receipt. These changes can include: Added items: After you place an order, you can add items to it! You will not see a charge for any items added to your order until after the order is complete. Replacement items: You can choose to have items replaced or not if something is out of stock. If an item is replaced, we’ll update your receipt to reflect the replacement item price. If the replacement is more expensive than the item you ordered, you will be charged more. If the replacement is less expensive, you will be charged less. Out of stock/refunded items: If an item is out of stock, your shopper will mark the item as out of stock, and we’ll remove it from your item total. This will reduce the final amount of your order. Weight adjustments: Our shoppers will try to get the exact weight of the items you requested, but it is likely the weight could be more or less than what you requested.  At the store, your shopper will input the correct item's weights before checking out, and we’ll update your item total. For example, if you ordered 2 lbs of bananas, but we sent you 1.9 lbs, you will be charged for 1.9 lbs. Some item weights, like produce, are measured by shoppers using in-aisle scales. The weight of items from the deli, meat and seafood counters are determined by the label applied in-store to those items. Special requests: A Special request is a way to add an item you don’t see listed on the Instacart catalog. If you have any special requests in your order, you'll be charged for them after the order is complete, since we don't know the cost of special request items until your shopper finds the item in the store. Cub Foods stores in your region now offer a new, more convenient option for shopping with Instacart. You will now get your Instacart Pickup orders in climate-controlled lockers, located outside the front entrance of specific Cub stores. Here’s how it works— Shop and checkout on the Instacart app, selecting a time window during which your order will be available for pick up. Your order will stay in the locker until the store closes Arrive at the store, find the outdoor lockers at the front entrance, and open your app to find a special PIN in the dashboard Tap the screen in the center of the lockers and input your special PIN LED lights illuminate next to the locker(s) containing your order. Pull open the locker doors to access. If you accidentally close a locker door before you finish collecting your items, don’t worry. Your PIN works for an additional 15 minutes after you first open the locker(s) Collect your order and carry on living your life! There are 3 types of Pickup lockers: freezer, refrigerator, and room temperature (for shelf-stable foods like cereal) so your cool and frozen items are kept at a safe temperature before you pick them up. If your entire order won’t fit in available lockers, your app will note such and you can pick it up at a temperature-controlled storage area inside the store.
