Shopper Community
Giving You Greater Access to Information
As part of our commitment to create a community built on best intent, we’re giving you greater access to information so you can make more informed decisions for your shopping experience.
Your stats
We’re providing more information about your completed batches. You’ll see a new section in your profile called “Your stats” with details like customer rating, feedback, and accuracy that includes how many batches you’ve done, the number of found items, liked replacements, etc. The accuracy information gives you insights into your shopping experience. It’s just for you and does not impact your access to batches or your experience using the app.
Proximity education
You know that being close to the store lets you see more batches from that store. But we heard feedback that it can be hard to know how close is close enough. Now when there are no batches on your list, you’ll be notified when you are close enough to a store that you’ll be among the first shoppers to receive batches.
Both your stats and proximity education will go into effect over the next week. You’ll see these updates in app no later than June 1.
At Instacart, we’re committed to creating a community built on best intent. We look forward to continuing to implement your feedback and developing new features that ensure our platform is fair for everyone. We’re excited to deliver product features related to our fourth commitment, recognition and rewards for the best of the bunch, next month.
