We want to share this community’s stories, highlighting Instacart shoppers, shift leads, and site managers all across North America. 10 Items or Less is a series featuring just some of the amazing members of the Instacart community, sharing their unique experiences and secret sauce with the world.

1. What’s your name and where are you from? My name is Jennifer, and I’m from Groton, CT.
2. How long have you been shopping with Instacart? I’ve been a full-service shopper for three years.
3. Why did you decide to start shopping with Instacart? I have five kids, so the flexibility is wonderful.
4. What’s your favorite thing about shopping with Instacart? I love helping all the people who can’t get to the store by themselves. I also love chatting with the people I shop for.
5. What 3 items are always in your personal shopping cart? Panera broccoli cheddar soup, raspberries, and milk.
6. What’s a fun fact that would surprise us about you? I have a photographic memory, so I remember most of my customers and what they order by heart.
7. What’s a shopping tip that a lot of people might not know (your “secret sauce”)? I always preview the items before I go into the stores so I can establish a plan of action.
8. Do you have any relationships you’ve made while shopping with Instacart? Plenty of my customers come out and greet me so we can chat about what’s going on with our lives at the moment.
9. What’s your “side dish” – a hobby, a hidden talent, another job you do on the side? I’m also a freelance hairdresser.
10. What’s one piece of guidance or encouragement you would give to the shopper community? Always go the extra mile for the people you shop for. They will almost always respond with gratitude.
