How to Greek Salad: Step by Step

  1. Peel cucumbers and scoop out seeds with a spoon.
  2. Slice cumbers to about a quarter-inch in size.
  3. Cut tomatoes in half, take out the seeds, and dice to a medium-small size.
  4. Slice red onion as thin as possible.
  5. Cut feta into approximately quarter-inch cubes. If you’d like to skip this step you can buy crumbled feta.
  6. Put all ingredients into a large bowl, including the olives, and toss it together.
  7. Dress the salad, add salt and pepper, and toss again.
  8. Serve.

This delicious light greek salad has a tangy dressing and crisp vegetables, and it’s also nut-free and vegetarian.

Ingredients

  • For the Salad:
  • 1 cup kalamata olives

  • 2 cucumbers

  • 4 Roma tomatoes, cored and diced

  • 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced

  • 1/2 cup feta (or as much as you want)

  • For the Dressing:
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil

  • 1/2 cup red wine vinegar

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • 1 tsp mustard

  • 1 lemon, juiced

  • 1 tsp oregano

  • Salt and pepper to taste
