Ingredients Needed for a Light Greek Salad
For the Salad:
- 1 cup kalamata olives
- 2 cucumbers
- 4 Roma tomatoes, cored and diced
- 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup feta (or as much as you want)
For the Dressing:
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp mustard
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1 tsp oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Additional Recommended Supplies
- 1 Large Bowl
- 1 Small Bowl
How to Greek Salad: Step by Step
- Peel cucumbers and scoop out seeds with a spoon.
- Slice cumbers to about a quarter-inch in size.
- Cut tomatoes in half, take out the seeds, and dice to a medium-small size.
- Slice red onion as thin as possible.
- Cut feta into approximately quarter-inch cubes. If you’d like to skip this step you can buy crumbled feta.
- Put all ingredients into a large bowl, including the olives, and toss it together.
- Dress the salad, add salt and pepper, and toss again.
- Serve.
