Customers turn to Instacart for an effortless and affordable grocery shopping experience with unparalleled selection from the retailers they know and love. We know sometimes they’re looking for a full fridge and pantry stock-up, and other times they need just a few essentials quickly. From weekly grocery shops and bulk buys to last-minute deliveries and special occasions, we’re focused on partnering with retailers to offer customers exactly what they need, when they want it.

In fact, we’ve seen customer demand for convenience grow significantly over the past year, with orders up more than 150% since May. To help meet this continued demand, today we’re proud to introduce two new experiences designed to help meet the convenience needs of more customers nationwide.

First, we’re excited to share that we’ve expanded our partnership with Kroger – America’s largest grocer – to launch Kroger Delivery Now, a first-of-its-kind virtual convenience service that offers customers access to unparalleled selection, quality, value and speed. By using Kroger’s existing network of more than 2,700 stores, Kroger Delivery Now is an innovative, new convenience experience that makes faster delivery possible from Kroger Family of Stores, including Kroger, Ralphs, Fred Meyer, King Soopers, Fry’s, Mariano’s, Smith’s and more. From fresh meat and produce, ready-to-eat meals, and pantry staples, as well as convenience store essentials like sweet and salty snacks, single-serve drinks and late-night treats – customers can now have more than 25,000 of their Kroger favorites, which is more than five times the selection offered by traditional convenience retailers, delivered in as fast as 30 minutes via Instacart’s Priority Delivery.

We’re also excited to unveil the Convenience Hub on the Instacart Marketplace, giving customers in nearly every major U.S. city the ability to shop from their favorite convenience retailers 24 hours a day, seven days a week with free Priority Delivery in as fast as 30 minutes for Instacart Express members on orders over $10. We continue to see increased demand for rapid delivery, with nearly 20% of customers selecting Priority Delivery at checkout today. Through the Convenience Hub, we’re combining the speed customers need with access to an unparalleled selection of convenience retailers – including Kroger Delivery Now. Instacart’s Convenience Hub includes an extensive assortment of tens of thousands of fresh foods, pantry staples, alcohol, snacks, and prepared meals – all available for delivery up to 24 hours a day.
