Baked goods come in a range of flavors and types, and they go well with many other food products. A baked good is a food made from a batter or dough and baked, either in an oven or on hot stones or ashes. Most of our modern baked goods are cooked in ovens, but in the early days of civilization, people used hot ashes from fires and hot stones to bake bread and other goods.
